Music Tells Stories Music Tells Stories is a new series of music events with storytelling that adds fun, enriching the performances. Each of the music performances will be different … in the artists, in the style of music, and in tellers and telling. David Holt and his bass player Will McIntyre will be on stage September 18th from 1 – 6:30. Click here for more details and to purchase tickets. Check the calendar for future events. On February 11, from 1 - 6 pm, The Healing Force will be at the Storytelling and Arts Center for a celebration of Black History Month and African-American culture through music and story. There will be an exhibit of African art and artifacts from 1 - 6 pm. At 1:30 pm, The Healing Force will lead a drumming circle open to all. They will have 30 drums and you may bring your own. There is no charge for this fun drumming experience. At 4 pm, The Healing Force will perform music and tales for the whole family. There is a $5 charge for this concert. This will be a wonderful event for the community to celebrate the African American cultural heritage that is so important to this community.
